Sign up, connect your calendar, create an event type, share your link. That's it.
1. Create your account
Go to kaien.app and sign in with Google. We use Google OAuth — no separate password needed. Your name and email are pulled from your Google account automatically.
2. Connect Google Calendar
After sign-in, kaien will prompt you to grant calendar access. We need read access to check your existing events for conflicts, and write access to create booking events on your behalf. We only touch the calendar you select — we don't read other calendars in your account.
If you skip this step, you can connect later from Settings → Calendar.
3. Create your first event type
From your dashboard, click New event type. Give it a name (e.g. “30-min intro call”), set the duration, and choose which days and hours you're available. You can add a buffer before or after, set a minimum notice period, and limit how far in advance someone can book.
Hit Save and your event type is live.
4. Share your booking link
Each event type gets a unique URL like kaien.app/yourname/30-min-intro. Copy it from the event type page and paste it wherever you need — email signature, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, your website. When someone opens it, they see your real-time availability and can book a slot instantly.
